From St. Vincent to NYC: A Full Life of Creativity

Growing up in a small village in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, shopping for new outfits wasn’t a thing—they came straight off my mom’s sewing machine. Every stitch, every pattern, every piece of fabric was transformed into something beautiful. That love for textiles became part of my fiber, my being. Now, I get to share that with you! Even my kids have caught the creative bug—one’s an emerging architect, and the other already owns a sewing machine!

For over three decades, I’ve been working with textiles—first as a hobby and, for the past seven years, as my business. Jillian Trumpet Creative is a family-run artisan brand based in New York City, where we create handcrafted, high-quality textiles designed and dyed in-house.

Every product—whether it’s a batik painting kit, home decor, or wearable art—is designed, hand-dyed, and sewn in our studio. We control the process from start to finish, ensuring exceptional quality every single time.
